Volkswagen introduces manual gearbox option for Virtus 1.5 TSI and expands Taigun GT Plus line-up with manual and DSG gearbox variants
Volkswagen has responded to market demands by launching a six-speed manual gearbox option for the 1.5 TSI variants of the Virtus sedan. Priced at Rs 16.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Virtus 1.5 TSI manual provides customers with more choice and accessibility to the powerful 1.5 TSI engine. Alongside this, Volkswagen has also introduced the GT Plus variants of the Taigun SUV, now available in both manual and DSG automatic gearboxes, with prices starting from Rs 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
To further enhance the appeal of the Virtus and Taigun, Volkswagen has introduced special exterior paint shade options. The new GT Edge Limited Collection offers unique paint shades such as Deep Black Pearl or Carbon Steel Grey matte finish, exclusively available for the Taigun GT Plus DSG and GT Plus MT variants. Similarly, the Virtus GT Plus DSG and GT Plus MT models come with the option of the Deep Black Pearl paint shade. These exclusive color options can be booked online and will be produced on a made-to-order basis, with deliveries set to begin next month.
