Wearing Saffron Not Enough, Follow Religion Too: Congress' Swipe At Yogi Adityanath

Ripping into Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the "bhagwa" comments made by his office, the Congress on Friday said wearing saffron was insufficient as one needs to pursue the religion as well.

"Following the religion isn't getting a charge out of intensity, however surrendering it for satisfying one's assertion. Rather than regurgitating venom, one needs to swallow poison for sparing religion.

"One needs to pursue religion and not tear it separated. One doesn't need to wear saffron shading, however, wear the religion as well," Congress boss representative Randeep Surjewala said in a tweet in Hindi.

"No saffron disdain, no saffron retribution, no saffron brutality, no saffron separation, no saffron craziness however liberality.” Saffron isn't a guilty pleasure of intensity yet its renunciation. Oh, people with great influence would get this," he said in another tweet in Hindi.

The workplace of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said on Monday that ''bhagwa'' or saffron is "business" for the Congress, however, Adityanath dons saffron for open help in the wake of relinquishing everything else.
