MS Dhoni Successfully Undergoes Knee Surgery, Expected to Make Full Recovery in Two Months

Former Indian Cricket Captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, underwent a successful surgery on his left knee. The procedure, known as keyhole surgery or arthroscopic surgery, was performed by Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, a renowned sports medicine specialist at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Dhoni had been experiencing discomfort in his knee throughout the IPL tournament, but sources from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have confirmed that the operation went well, and Dhoni is in good health.

Following the surgery, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan spoke to Dhoni, who sounded fine and is expected to have a smooth recovery. Dr. Madhu Thottappil, the team doctor of CSK, has been delegated to oversee Dhoni's treatment in Mumbai. Dhoni's wife, Sakshi, has been supporting him during his hospital stay.

Although the exact duration of his recovery is uncertain, it is projected that Dhoni will be fully active again within two months. This news brings relief to Dhoni's fans, as he had expressed his intention to return for another season and play his final IPL season next year.

Dr. Pardiwala's expertise and track record in knee and shoulder surgeries have reassured sources who have worked with him before. He is known for his skill and meticulous approach, ensuring favorable outcomes for his patients. Experts emphasize that arthroscopic procedures are commonly used for knee surgeries, with shorter healing times compared to open surgeries. Dhoni can rest assured that he is in capable hands, with a high chance of a successful recovery.
